Molly Bicks
Co-Artistic Director
Molly Bicks is a writer, and performer based in Brooklyn. They were one of eight writers selected to participate in Inkubator’s 2019 Playlab and a 2018-2019 resident artist at Access Theatre. Bicks’s play “Lily” was recently selected as a finalist for the Clauder Awards, and performed as a workshop production at Portland Stages.
Select writing credits include “Judy Doomed Us All,” (co-written with Rat Queen Theatre co) performed at The New Ohio’s Ice Factory. “Strindberg Vs. Strindberg,” (Co-written with Carsen Joenk) developed at an independent residency at the Eugene O'Neill Theatre Center, performed as part of China Town Soup’s Stag Monday series. “ “Swaggy, An American Love Story,” performed at The Brick Trans Theater Fest (Co-written with Reed Northrup).
Raquel Loving
Co-Founder
Raquel Loving is an actress and producer based in Brooklyn, NY. She is a graduate of Sarah Lawrence College, where she ran The Melancholy Players with the rest of her Rat Queen Co. producers. Also during her time at Sarah Lawrence, she was a part of Women's Naked Shakespeare, an all female identifying Shakespeare troupe. She has attended the British American Drama Academy for the year long conservatory program. During her time there, she performed in London's Oval House Theater where she
played Macduff and originated a role in Margaret Cavendish's The Unnatrual Tragedy,
first written in 1662. Raquel is excited to be a part of this beautiful group of people and working with her theatre soulmates.
Reed Northrup
CO-Founder
Bre Northrup is an aquatic sea life form born in a tank and raised to be a fish of all trades. You'll likely find them surfing the waves of the open mic circuit, directing dark comedies, or advocating for queer voices in the arts. In the wee hours of the night they go by their drag alter ego Wolfgang Amaclitoris Blowzhard. They enjoy getting their fins wet in sound design and marketing (this website was the work of their arduous labor). Their solo show about the life and struggle of Justin Bieber is
a part of the Pit's SOLOCOM 2016. They hold degrees from both Sarah Lawrence College and The National Theater Institute at the Eugene O'Neill Theater. If they weren't in theater, they would probably play basketball because everyone said they couldn't.
Carsen Joenk
Co-Artistic Director
Carsen J. Joenk is a director, sound designer, and Brooklyn based Chicagoan. As a theatremaker and story-teller, Carsen is interested in both new plays and adaptations. She is a sucker for ensemble-driven work and dance numbers. Carsen is intrigued by morality, history, pop music, translation, trash, and glitter.
Past directing projects include Judy Doomed Us All (Rat Queen), Unboxing (Dixon Place), The Election (EST/Youngblood), Romeo & Juliet (Women's Naked Shakespeare), Trout Stanley (The Melancholy Players), among others

J. Mehr Kaur

J. Mehr Kaur is a director, producer and curator of live performance events. Recently, Mehr co-produced Riot Antigone by Seonjae Kim (La MaMa, Ars Nova) and her adaptation Kultar’s Mime is currently touring across the US, Canada, India, UK, and Malaysia. Mehr's directing work has been seen internationally at British and Scottish Houses of Parliament, Mumbai's National Centre for the Performing Arts, the Norman Rothstein Theatre, Williamstown Theatre Festival, Dixon Place, Wild Project, Hallie Flanagan Studio Theatre and Theatre
14. Mehr has assisted directors such as Oliver Butler and James MacDonald and is a recent graduate of Smith College where she studied Political Science and Theatre. She is a Manhattan Theatre Club Directing Fellow and the recipient of The Samuel A. Eliot, Jr./Julia Heflin Award for Distinguished Directing, the Bernhardt Brueger Prize and a Fulbright-Nehru Directing Grant.

Non Kuramoto is a New York based Japanese actor, comedian, writer, and feminist-art-slut. She uses laughter and absurdity as tools to elevate voices of Asian women, experimenting with various art forms to find the funny in paranoia, identity crises, and depression. Non made her Off-Broadway debut in The Sex Myth: A Devised Play. Her play, The Fart Play (I'm Sad): A Dance, was produced at Nasty Women Unite Festival. You can listen to her tell jokes in a variety of bars and comedy clubs all
around New York. At Northeastern University, where she recently received her BS in Theatre (haha), she co-founded the Northeastern Shakespeare Society and has designed and built costumes, sets, and worked with electrics. When not on or off-stage, she can be found covered in paint or capturing people with a camera.
